Hope everyone is doing great on this fabulous Monday morning! It's pretty quiet here in the office today, so I thought I would use this time to update everyone on one of the exciting projects Market Connection is currently putting together.
The Local's List is a resource for visitors and tourists in the High Country, providing a comprehensive list of arts, entertainment, recreation, services, and shopping in Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk.
This is a brand new, effective and affordable marketing tool that has not been attempted yet in this area. We have already signed on several local businesses such as Char, Hot Diggidy Dog, Magic Cycle, Black Cat, Dos Amigos, Mellow Mushroom and Mike's Seafood. 20,000 copies of The Local's List will be printed twice a year, fall/winter and spring/summer, and distributed in hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts, and cabin rentals in the High Country. As we have all been toursits ourselves at some point, we know how hard it can be to find a decent place to eat or a fun place to spend the day. With this list, visitors can see at a glance the phone number, location, and a brief description of a myriad of businesses in the High Country.
